i met Spike when he played the Adelaide Festival in the mid 70s

we went to meet him backstage before his sold out show...

after we played a couple of clown numbers for him

he insisted that we stay for the show...

arranging chairs at side of stage

after the show a local restauranteur

awarded him the freedom of his restaurant....

so he gathered us all up and off we went for some fine dining

the world was never the same after the Goons...
