Lindsay Kemp brought his production of Flowers to Sydney in the mid seventies..

we were all knocked out by the production

so when it was announced that he would be giving workshops

we all rushed down to sign on...

i quickly became one of the inner circle

which meant that i could go to see flowers as often as i wanted..

being let in to the gallery for free whenever...

i must have seen the show about a dozen times at least

i learnt a lot from Lindsay..in particular his imaginative technique

for creating new and spectacular shows

he said he would sit in a darkened theatre

and imagine the most perfect spectacle unfolding in front of him

and then work out the physical techniques to create that illusion...
