Starred Grahame Bond, Peter Weir, James Dellit, Val Falloon (Rodney) and Geoff Malloon. Written by Grahame Bond, Peter Weir and Geoffrey Atherden. Directed by Geoffrey Atherden. This was on at the Cell Block Theatre (Sydney), 26 March to 2 April. Grahame Bond and Rory O’Donoghue wrote the music (additional material by Val Falloon), and Rory was also musical director. ‘Balloon Dubloon’ retitled, on at Phillip Theatre (1969) and Richbrooke (1970). Written by Grahame Bond, Geoffrey Atherden and Peter Weir, musical director Rory O’Donoghue. The Phillip Theatre production starred Grahame Bond, Sean McEuan, Anna Nygh, Peter Campbell and Wilfred Last, with musical backing by Oakapple Day and choreography by Anna Nygh.
